A Call to Holy Living

Remember we are called to be different! From the moment we accepted Christ as Saviour our DNA was changed. No longer do we have to bow down to that old man but wake up to life as the new man, the fullness that God envisioned when He created Adam.

"So prepare your minds for action and exercise self-control. Put all your hope in the gracious salvation that will come to you when Jesus Christ is revealed to the world. So you must live as God’s obedient children. Don’t slip back into your old ways of living to satisfy your own desires. You didn't know any better then. But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy. For the Scriptures say, “You must be holy because I am holy.” 1 Peter 1:13-16 (NLT)

Faith and Forgiveness

Prayer is powerful! Being filled with faith in God and of God all things are possible. When we first let go of pride and forgive no "but's" about it let go of the past and move into all the Father has waiting for you!

"Then Jesus said to the disciples, “Have faith in God. I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you've received it, it will be yours. But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too.”
Mark 11:22-25 (NLT)

Seek Him!

It is not the government of America that will save it. Not a man in governmental office who will change America's path. As Americans we do not receive our safety from armies of men. One thing will save and protect this land, the hand of God. We as Christians have arrived at a time to put our faith in action, it's time to pray in one accord.

"if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14)

He wants to forgive our sins, heal our land. Nineveh was a place so bad Jonah didn't want it or it's people forgiven, but God did! The people turned to God and prayed from the highest to the lowest. It would have only taken 10 righteous for Sodom to have been spared! What does that have to do with America? God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow when we grab hold of that in our "knowers" and put our faith into prayer for our country change can not help but happen! Think about it, we have more than ten right here praying and we are not alone. All across this nation Christians are praying alone, with their families, small groups, and large groups via internet and phone. Know you are here for this time for a purpose. We are blessed to live in this country at this time, thank God for it.

Pray and Vote!

"When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice;
But when a wicked man rules, the people groan." Proverbs 29:2 (NKJV)

We pray for our nation tonight. We have to as Christians make sure that change is for good and not evil. Samuel Adams wrote:

"Let each citizen remember at the moment he is offering his vote that he is not making a present or a compliment to please an individual...he is executing one of the most solemn trusts in human society for which he is accountable to God and his country."

Remember that prayer is IMPORTANT(!), we must also put action in way of our votes and involvement in our government. Your involvement is as simple as giving someone a ride to the polls, sharing with friends what a certain candidate believes in regards to a issue. Most importantly KEEP PRAYING for this nation and listening to what the Holy Spirit is telling you. Tonight pray in the spirit specifically for the direction this country is crying for, the direction needed to return to Him!

Be what He created you to be!

Although we should appreciate and take hold of the abundant provision God gives us, we must always remember the provision is not the point.
Our purpose here on the earth is not to just enjoy God's blessings. Our purpose is to fulfill the mission Jesus has given us as His ambassadors. Our purpose is to penetrate the darkness and bring people His light.
The only way for us to successfully do that is by staying in constant contact with Him.

Take time to spend with Him pray in the Spirit, and take the time to really listen to Him. The purpose He has for each individual in the Body is amazing to say the least! Just praise Him and see what unfolds!

" Praise the Lord!
Praise God in his sanctuary;
praise him in his mighty heaven!
Praise him for his mighty works;
praise his unequaled greatness!
Praise him with a blast of the ram’s horn;
praise him with the lyre and harp!
Praise him with the tambourine and dancing;
praise him with strings and flutes!
Praise him with a clash of cymbals;
praise him with loud clanging cymbals.
Let everything that breathes sing praises to the Lord!
Praise the Lord!" Psalm 150 (New Living Translation)

You are the front line...

Pray for All Men
"Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time, 7 for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle—I am speaking the truth in Christ[a]and not lying—a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth."
1 Timothy 2:4-7

I love these verses and the prayer they hold within, the lifting up of those in authority, that all men be saved and walk in peace whether Gentile or Jew.
We are entering into a time of change in government, this is a year of election and change here in the US. Think of the alignment God has in store for America! Stay focused, stay in prayer! When you don't know the words remember 1 Timothy 2:1-7 and praying in the Spirit. Stay with it remember as pray-ers you are the front lines going forth!

Stay positive!!

Remember always praying, 1 Timothy 2:1-7, for our governmental leadership here in America. That all will be well domestically, and abroad. We have entered a time of change let our prayers for a turning back to God be spoken out that they may happen now. No longer question what happened to this country in the past tense, but pray for the glory this nation is returning to. God chose us to be Americans for this day and time, take your placement seriously. Be one who chooses to raise up our leaders, prays for the people, blesses the children growing up today. Speak it out, the positive, we are a nation that prospers, a nation that places value on our children and a nation that stands with Israel. A nation that honors it's military men and women. That believes first and foremost that while we have a president here in the natural we have one King, Our Lord Jesus Christ that we as a nation and people honor above all else.

Fall to my knees...

"When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father,[a] the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth.[b] I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.
Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen."
Ephesians 3:14-21

Diligence is the key...

Do you ever think about diligence? What it means? 2 Peter 1:5-8 in the Amplified states:

"For this very reason, [a]adding your diligence [to the divine promises], employ every effort in [b]exercising your faith to develop virtue (excellence, resolution, Christian energy), and in [exercising] virtue [develop] knowledge (intelligence),
And in [exercising] knowledge [develop] self-control, and in [exercising] self-control [develop] steadfastness (patience, endurance), and in [exercising] steadfastness [develop] godliness (piety),
And in [exercising] godliness [develop] brotherly affection, and in [exercising] brotherly affection [develop] Christian love.
For as these qualities are yours and increasingly abound in you, they will keep [you] from being idle or unfruitful unto the [[c]full personal] knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One)."

Why bring this up? We are supposed to be praying for America and Israel, aren't we? Exactly! We are and we need to be doing it "DILIGENTLY". We keep praying 1 Timothy 2:1-6
"FIRST OF all, then, I admonish and urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all men,
For kings and all who are in positions of authority or high responsibility, that [outwardly] we may pass a quiet and undisturbed life [and inwardly] a peaceable one in all godliness and reverence and seriousness in every way.
For such [praying] is good and right, and [it is] pleasing and acceptable to God our Savior,
Who wishes all men to be saved and [increasingly] to perceive and recognize and discern and know precisely and correctly the [divine] Truth.
For there [is only] one God, and [only] one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,
Who gave Himself as a ransom for all [people, a fact that was] attested to at the right and proper time."

We are praying this for our leaders now and IN THE FUTURE! We keep lifting up those in positions of authority both here at home and in G-d's chosen land Israel. We diligently offer up prayers of thanksgiving for our country and the men and women who have stepped up to serve in areas of government. We pray for Godly wisdom and counsel for them, if they choose not to follow His will that they will be replaced by those that will! We pray for leadership of the armed forces both US and IDF, that plots and plans of the enemy will be brought to the surface and extinguished before any harm can happen. Most of all we pray for Jesus love to shine through in all we do.

Love and blessings!!

His plan, not mine!

Focus not on the nine zillion little things that can pop up to distract, but the ONE most important. Spend time focusing on building relationship with God. Pray for those in position of leadership to have that special time with our Father. That it's not about what we want but what He has in store for us.

"I will make my home among them. I will be their God, and they will be my people." Ezekiel 37:27 (NLT)

"And what union can there be between God’s temple and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God said:
“I will live in them
and walk among them.
I will be their God,
and they will be my people." 2 Corinthians 6:16 (NLT)

The more time we spend in prayer and in God's word the closer we grow to Him. When your praying this week remember its not just what you have to say its about being quiet and really listening to what HE has to say to you. That is what real relationship is about its not one sided. Take time and really read your bible. He speaks to us through it.

A Prayer of Praise

"Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault. All glory to him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen."
(Jude 1:23-25 NLT)

Take time to go to the Father in praise.....So much going on not only in Israel but around the globe that the devil would like to use to make us despair, but Glory To God! Our Father is all powerful, Jesus already paid the price and the Holy Spirit is waiting to guide us in all we do. Amazing isn't it? Thank God for the protection already given to us, the peace already available, the security not given by man but by the Creator Himself. In these days ahead look to Him, not government. Pray for earthly leadership 1 Timothy 2: 1-7, and mean it! Pray Psalm 91 and know its true. A New Year begins this week on God's calendar be expectant!

Dream....BIG

Proverbs 29:18 says, "Where there is no vision, the people perish..." (KJV).

You have got to have a vision—a dream—if you want to accomplish all that God has for you. It is time to think big, pray big, and DREAM BIG!

God uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things. It all starts with a dream. Every invention that was ever discovered, every ministry that was ever started, began with a dream. What about you? Have you stepped into your place, are you spending time with God learning what you need to be able to take your place in His plan?
While praying tonight really focus on the vision God has sent to you, that there is clarity. Then don't just sit around waiting GO, do what He says do. Think its impossible? Then it probable is, if you are trying to do it on your own, but watch out world if you let go, let God and give heed to the Holy Spirit the impossible not only becomes possible it becomes fact!

And this be our motto - "In God is our trust,"

On September 14, 1814, Francis Scott Key viewed through the clearing smoke, our United States flag still flying proudly after the 25-hour British bombardment of Fort McHenry. The scene inspired him to write a poem, which was later set to music, and it became the national anthem.

May the inspiration that fell upon Francis Scott Key while he glimpsed through the smoke so many years ago, encourage us now to peer beyond the challenges of this nation—to perceive the glory of the living God that blesses "the heaven rescued land" with "victory and peace."

Love and Blessings!

The following is the complete four-verse version of "The Star-Spangled Banner," containing the original spelling and punctuation from Francis Scott Key's manuscript in the Maryland Historical Society collection:

O say can you see, by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hail'd at the twilight's last gleaming,
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight
O'er the ramparts we watch'd were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bomb bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there,
O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

On the shore dimly seen through the mists of the deep
Where the foe's haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, o'er the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?
Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first beam,
In full glory reflected now shines in the stream,
'Tis the star-spangled banner - O long may it wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

And where is that band who so vauntingly swore,
That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion
A home and a Country should leave us no more?
Their blood has wash'd out their foul footstep's pollution.
No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave,
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

O thus be it ever when freemen shall stand
Between their lov'd home and the war's desolation!
Blest with vict'ry and peace may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the power that hath made and preserv'd us a nation!
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto - "In God is our trust,"
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

How change begins....

For change to happen in America for the blinders to be removed the Church must come together. We must be the ones to show the love of Christ.

Do you care about the fate of millions in this world do you spend time seeking the face of Jesus are you willing to lay down your lives for those who do not know him? There is great responsibility in this day and time the church in America has become stagnant as a whole. Do you care ? We've talked the talk it's time to walk the walk.
The best way to pray for our nation tonight is to pray for the church to be the CHURCH, when that happens everything else moves into place. Men and women of God taking their place in business and government walking in righteousness. Pray for it, expect it and hold on it's going to be amazing to be part of this time in history.

Joy and Confidence

No matter what your job or position in ministry is our Father is giving you direction via the Holy Spirit in you. It is important that we follow that direction with confidence! To do that we need to build ourselves (and each other!) up. Confidence is established in your heart when you know by experience that God will do what He said He would because He did it before! Meditate on all His goodness and remember everything He has already done! This will give you the Boldness to CRASH THROUGH whatever is standing in your way! Pray in the Spirit, remembering and thanking God for those times He has already met your needs, turned a situation around, given you favor, delivered you,nor caused you to succeed. That's your arsenal of faith being built up to KNOW He has done it before He will do it again.

"When the Lord brought back his exiles to Jerusalem,
    it was like a dream!
 We were filled with laughter,
    and we sang for joy.
And the other nations said,
“What amazing things the Lord has done for them.”
Yes, the Lord has done amazing things for us!
    What joy!
Restore our fortunes, Lord,
    as streams renew the desert.
 Those who plant in tears
will harvest with shouts of joy.
They weep as they go to plant their seed,
but they sing as they return with the harvest."
 Psalm 126 (NLT)

Listen...

"A child gives love for the sake of love.
Yet An adult can also learn to do the same."

Praying for adults to have open eyes, ears, and hearts to have a willingness to learn from the children today. So many times that confirmation you're searching for that encouragement you need is as close as a child's smile. The Lord gives the young vision, are you listening? Are you encouraging?

Blessings to share!

God is so good! As you are going about your week remember that. When you keep His goodness to the forefront of your thoughts take action on it. Praise God for what he has done and has promised to do. Don't stop there, let the world know what He has done for you. Thats putting love in action, letting a lost and hurting world know what hope is, you have it share it! Remember we are all called to go out and share Jesus Christ that means we are all part of the ministry.

" O my soul, bless God.
From head to toe, I’ll bless his holy name!
O my soul, bless God,
don’t forget a single blessing!
He forgives your sins—every one.
He heals your diseases—every one.
He redeems you from hell—saves your life!
He crowns you with love and mercy—a paradise crown.
He wraps you in goodness—beauty eternal.
He renews your youth—you’re always young in his presence."

Praying for Israel:

"Regarding Zion, I can’t keep my mouth shut,
regarding Jerusalem, I can’t hold my tongue,
Until her righteousness blazes down like the sun
and her salvation flames up like a torch.
Foreign countries will see your righteousness,
and world leaders your glory.
You'll get a brand-new name
straight from the mouth of God.
You’ll be a stunning crown in the palm of God’s hand,
a jeweled gold cup held high in the hand of your God.
No more will anyone call you Rejected,
and your country will no more be called Ruined.
You’ll be called Hephzibah (My Delight),
and your land Beulah (Married),
Because God delights in you
and your land will be like a wedding celebration.
For as a young man marries his virgin bride,
so your builder marries you,
And as a bridegroom is happy in his bride,
so your God is happy with you.
I’ve posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem.
Day and night they keep at it, praying, calling out,
reminding God to remember.
They are to give him no peace until he does what he said,
until he makes Jerusalem famous as the City of Praise.
God has taken a solemn oath,
an oath he means to keep:
“Never again will I open your grain-filled barns
to your enemies to loot and eat.
Never again will foreigners drink the wine
that you worked so hard to produce.
No. The farmers who grow the food will eat the food
and praise God for it.
And those who make the wine will drink the wine
in my holy courtyards.”
Walk out of the gates. Get going!
Get the road ready for the people.
Build the highway. Get at it!
Clear the debris,
hoist high a flag, a signal to all peoples!
Yes! God has broadcast to all the world:
“Tell daughter Zion, ‘Look! Your Savior comes,
Ready to do what he said he’d do,
prepared to complete what he promised.’”
Zion will be called new names: Holy People, God-Redeemed,
Sought-Out, City-Not-Forsaken."
Isaiah 62 (MSG)

What we need today...

"Then Jesus made a circuit of all the towns and villages. He taught in their meeting places, reported kingdom news, and healed their diseased bodies, healed their bruised and hurt lives. When he looked out over the crowds, his heart broke. So confused and aimless they were, like sheep with no shepherd. "What a huge harvest!" he said to his disciples. "How few workers! On your knees and pray for harvest hands!" Matthew 9:35-38 (The Message)

As we look out and see so much needing to be done we could become discouraged, I mean look at the verses above. Even Jesus “heart broke”, seeing how many were in need, with seemingly so few workers available.  Jesus didn't stay in that place of “o, what do we do?” He knew what to do! Right now we just need to follow his example.

“So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.”(Matt.9:38 NLT)

Lord, what we need today are people—people that are willing to serve, to give, to labor with compassion among the people. We need people whose hearts are broken for the condition of God's people. This is what we pray. Amen—so be it Lord.

Build up and follow through!

“Then, after doing all those things,
I will pour out my Spirit upon all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy.
Your old men will dream dreams,
and your young men will see visions" Joel 2:28

Have you really listened to the children/youth around you? They are filled with dreams and vision. This morning pray for them to remain strong/positive in those dreams/vision's God has given them. Pray with them! Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you on speaking with the young ones you come in contact with, to build them up, to help them with understanding and the steps to make things happen.

“Write my answer plainly on tablets,
so that a runner can carry the correct message to others.
This vision is for a future time.
It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled.
If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently,
for it will surely take place.
It will not be delayed" Habakkuk 2:2-3

He never forgets...

He is the Lord our God; His judgments are in all the earth. He is [earnestly] mindful of His covenant and forever it is imprinted on His heart, the word which He commanded and established to a thousand generations, The covenant which He made with Abraham, and His sworn promise to Isaac, (Luke 1:72, 73.)Which He confirmed to Jacob as a statute, to Israel as an everlasting covenant, Saying, Unto you will I give the land of Canaan as your measured portion, possession, and inheritance. When they were but a few men in number, in fact, very few, and were temporary residents and strangers in it, When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people, He allowed no man to do them wrong; in fact, He reproved kings for their sakes, (Gen. 12:17; 20:3-7.) Saying, Touch not My anointed, and do My prophets no harm. (1Chron. 16:8-22.) (Psalm 105:7-15 AMP)

God never forgets his promises, He made covenant with the Jewish people for the land Israel and also the people Israel. Pray for safety, discernment and wisdom. To a time of peace. That America remains true to her word and people that support of Israel be unconditional.

Love and Blessings.

He is able...

"for he was fully convinced that what God had promised he could also accomplish."
Romans 4:21(CJB)

Knowing deep down that whatever dream that God has given you are able to do it! God does not ask us to do what cannot be done. Abraham knew that, how did he get to that point in his faith? Spending time with the Father developing relationship. Spend time with the Father, for yourselves and interceding, lifting up your friends. We come together corporately to build the whole body, we are so much stronger when we are in unison. Headed toward the same goal, glorifying our Lord!

Don't wait...

Schools across our nation are about to start for the year from pre-k thru college. Now is the time to plead the Blood of Jesus over them! Pray for protection over this generation.Take our place of authority given to us by Jesus that all plans of the enemy to harm or confuse our children fall apart before they can begin! Pray that teachers and administrators are put in place that support biblical ideals. That Christian students are given boldness to live out lives of righteousness in ways that show God's love so well that other students and faculty want the Jesus they know.

 Love and Blessings!

Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings". Psalm 36:7 (NKJV)

I pray...

"I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance.
I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms. Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else—not only in this world but also in the world to come. God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the church. And the church is his body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with himself." Amen (Ephesians 1:18-23 (NLT)

I love the prayers already written down for us in His Word.. Tonight this is my prayer for you and my hope that each of you join in agreement also, for one another. The power that is unleashed when Gods people join together is a force that cannot be stopped!

Because I love Zion

I will not keep still.
Because my heart yearns for Jerusalem,
I cannot remain silent.
I will not stop praying for her
until her righteousness shines like the dawn,
and her salvation blazes like a burning torch.
The nations will see your righteousness.
World leaders will be blinded by your glory.
And you will be given a new name
by the Lord 's own mouth.
The Lord will hold you in his hand for all to see—
a splendid crown in the hand of God.
Never again will you be called "The Forsaken City"
or "The Desolate Land."
Your new name will be "The City of God's Delight"
and "The Bride of God,"
for the Lord delights in you
and will claim you as his bride.
Your children will commit themselves to you, O Jerusalem,
just as a young man commits himself to his bride.
Then God will rejoice over you
as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride.
O Jerusalem, I have posted watchmen on your walls;
they will pray day and night, continually.
Take no rest, all you who pray to the Lord .
Give the Lord no rest until he completes his work,
until he makes Jerusalem the pride of the earth.
The Lord has sworn to Jerusalem by his own strength:
"I will never again hand you over to your enemies.
Never again will foreign warriors come
and take away your grain and new wine.
You raised the grain, and you will eat it,
praising the Lord .
Within the courtyards of the Temple,
you yourselves will drink the wine you have pressed."
Go out through the gates!
Prepare the highway for my people to return!
Smooth out the road; pull out the boulders;
raise a flag for all the nations to see.
The Lord has sent this message to every land:
"Tell the people of Israel,
`Look, your Savior is coming.
See, he brings his reward with him as he comes.'"
They will be called "The Holy People"
and "The People Redeemed by the Lord ."
And Jerusalem will be known as "The Desirable Place"
and "The City No Longer Forsaken." (Isaiah 62:1-12 NLT)

I think the Word says it all. Take up the call of the Watchman and pray for Israel....love and blessings

Stay

"Till I come, devote yourself to [public and private] reading, to exhortation (preaching and personal appeals), and to teaching and instilling doctrine. Do not neglect the gift which is in you, [that special inward endowment] which was directly imparted to you [by the Holy Spirit] by prophetic utterance when the elders laid their hands upon you [at your ordination]. Practice and cultivate and meditate upon these duties; throw yourself wholly into them [as your ministry], so that your progress may be evident to everybody. Look well to yourself [to your own personality] and to [your] teaching; persevere in these things [hold to them], for by so doing you will save both yourself and those who hear you." (1 Timothy 4:13-16 AMP)

Stay built up individually and as a body. Read the Word, pray, and pray in the spirit for yourself, your family, church family, and Pastors! Listen, we were not chosen to just blow around in the wind but given the anchor of the Word, and a guide that cannot get lost in the Holy Spirit.

Arrows

"Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord,
The fruit of the womb is a reward.
Like arrows in the hand of a warrior,
So are the children of one’s youth.
Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them;
They shall not be ashamed,
But shall speak with their enemies in the gate." Psalm 127:3-5 (NKJV)

Have you ever thought how here in the Word children are described not as your "best friend", that something that was missing in your life, or your caretaker when you get older. They are described as "arrows in the hand of a warrior"! Our children are brought here to be mighty men and women of God. Treat them that way, pray for them that way. Pray our children are bold, strong and fearless in the Lord as they walk in the world today. Pray for the parents/adults in their lives are strong models of what living a Godly life is.

A Time for Everything!

Ecclesiastes 3 1-8

A Time for Everything

1 For everything there is a season,
a time for every activity under heaven.
2 A time to be born and a time to die.
A time to plant and a time to harvest.
3 A time to kill and a time to heal.
A time to tear down and a time to build up.
4 A time to cry and a time to laugh.
A time to grieve and a time to dance.
5 A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones.
A time to embrace and a time to turn away.
6 A time to search and a time to quit searching.
A time to keep and a time to throw away.
7 A time to tear and a time to mend.
A time to be quiet and a time to speak.
8 A time to love and a time to hate.
A time for war and a time for peace.

Think about your prayers, as we pray for Israel and our country (United States). Are you staying in a place led by the Holy Spirit or are you letting your "head" get in the way? When we have spent so much time praying a specific thing we start to let ourselves get in the way at times, not on purpose for sure but we can start to think we know what's best.....What about the Holy Spirit? He was sent here as our helper to guide us be sure your taking the time to pray IN THE SPIRIT and to take the time to LISTEN. Our Father has many plans and has given us a helper that will show us the way, but we must remember to listen, hear and act! Tonight pray in the Spirit for our country and Israel and then listen for what He has to share with you. Then when action is called for take that step of faith and go!

Not Unknown

Thinking about how so much of the work of personal and church ministry is unseen. Now that is the key here, it may be unseen but not UNKNOWN. Habakkuk 2:2-3

" Write the vision...Though it tarries, wait for it;Because it will surely come...."

He gives us each a vision that we need to keep before us. It is our future, so we know the future just not all the details, just yet. Tonight lets pray for clarity of vision, for each of us to act on the God given ideas and plans they have been given. No holding back, moving forward to the KNOWN future, God's plan for us is good and not evil (Jer.29:11) and we know that God gives us victory through Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57).

Don't know what to pray?

Much is going on in the world today, as Christians we need to stay alert as we pray for our Nation and Israel, not because of fear but for direction and answers from the Holy Spirit. Y(our) prayers do major things, releasing Gods plan here on earth. Prayers are the first line in Gods army. Be willing.

Don't know what to pray? Pray in the spirit, pray for understanding, you will receive! Start your prayers with Psalm 91, 121-122, 100, 118 We are praying these Psalm specifically tonight for Israel that leadership is bold and filled with supernatural wisdom pertaining to decisions being made now.

"We were sent to speak for Christ..." (2 Cor. 5:20).

Another version of the Bible says, "Now then we are ambassadors for Christ." When you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior you became a representative for Him in this world. Nations around the globe send ambassadors to other countries to represent their interests. And now you have been set here in this country to look after the interests of the kingdom of God! Think about that! Everywhere you go, you are representing the King of Kings. What an honor!

Perhaps it might seem a little intimidating too. God has equipped you to be His ambassador. He gave you His name and the power of His word. He put His own Spirit inside of you. He has also given you the ability to hear and follow directions of that Spirit. You are equipped! You have God inside of you!

Wherever you may be, begin to think differently about yourself. You are not just another ordinary man or woman, but an ambassador of Almighty God! Talk to Him about how to be His representative in everything you do. Let His interest be big on your mind and in your heart. You are an ambassador for Jesus Christ in this nation!

It's about families!

“My son, hear the instruction of your father; reject not nor forsake the teaching of your mother. For they are a [victor’s] chaplet (garland) of grace upon your head and chains and pendants [of gold worn by kings] for your neck.” Proverbs 1:8-9 AMP

Today we pray that we are the fathers and mothers that God set us here to be. That we hear our Fathers instructions in regards to all things but most especially in regards to our children that we are able to share with them how much they are loved and their importance in the kingdom. That we live the same way we speak whether at home, work, or church. That we are here to build up champions in Christ. When we do that we are strengthened also, iron sharpens iron isn't just about adults. Its about families too!

Being persistent in prayer.

 I want to share the following, the parable of the persistent widow;

"Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart,  saying: “There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. 3 Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, ‘Get justice for me from my adversary.’ And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man,yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’” Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”
                                                                       Luke 18:1-8 (NKJV)

Do you see? Jesus gave us a mandate not to stop, be persistent in our prayers! As long as we are praying for our leaders to be saved, for the knowledge of God to fill them, for our land to be healed and be one Nation under God.(1 Timothy 2:1-7) How can we lose? WE CAN'T! Don't give into what the negative world has to say about our country(s), we have the promises of God that tell us different.

God will fulfill for us the promise of 2 Chronicles 7:14:

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." (KJV)

Jehovah Nissi

Jehovah Nissi, The Lord my Banner of VICTORY! We have at some time or another felt maybe we did not have the knowledge or the strength to accomplish some task, if we are being honest we probably didn't! On our own that is. When we remember that Jesus is our banner, the standard that goes before us to make you a conqueror.

"Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place."
 2 Cor. 2:14 (NKJV)

When God gave you a dream/vision to go out and serve Him, as a minister, teacher, preacher or even while out in the market place. He didn't expect you to do it on your own! With the Holy Spirit, holding up Jesus before us (our Banner) all things are not only possible but finished! Glory to God! Wherever you go remember it's not you, but Jesus! With Him before us there is nothing impossible!

A Generation "Fixed"

The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation.” (Psalms 91:14-16 NLT)

Prayers for a generation that are "fixed" on The Lord God. Young mighty men and women of God who know who they are in Christ because of the blood of Christ. That not only hear the voice of the Father but ANSWER that voice. To know they are never alone and what a gift that is!
