Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything!

  The enemy may have been throwing stuff at you trying to shift your focus away from your goals (God's plan for you!), don’t fall for it!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.  Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”    Philippians 4:6-7 (NLT)

 Finally I urge each one of us to pray this prayer for spiritual wisdom for each other this week that as we go about our week, spending time with our Father developing relationship with Him wisdom and direction is awakened within us.

 “Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints,  do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers:  that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,  the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,  and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,  far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.
 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.” Ephesians 1:15-23(NKJV)

Families Together in prayer.

And he will turn The hearts of the fathers to the children, And the hearts of the children to their fathers....
(Malachi 4:6 NKJV)

Pray for a drawing together today of families, especially fathers and children. Children need to see strong men in their lives that love The Lord with their whole being, all the time, not just at church.  This prayer is not just for the "natural" fathers but the "spiritual" ones called to fill voids.

Turning this Nation Around

 Continue to pray for Israel's peace and protection of her people especially with the escalation of terrorist activities in the area. What we really need to focus on tonight though is America, we are entering into a season of change and we as Christians and pray-ers must step up and let our voices be heard, no longer be silent on what is going on...Pray for our country to return to God. The following is excerpts/paraphrase from Mac Hammond and David Barton. Please read, look up the verses and lets begin to take back our nation now!

 Love and Blessings!!

Turning This Nation Around
How could we, as a nation, have let this happen? We've let a lot of people who don't believe in God, or are outright hostile to Him, hold political office and run this country. The good news is that we don't have to let a pitifully small but vocal minority force-feed America with a philosophy we don't want.

As always, the first step is to pray. First Timothy 2:2 declares that we must pray for those in authority. Many Christians labor long and hard in the political arena, but they labor in vain if they're not first and foremost calling on the name of the Lord in prayer.

God has promised us, "If you pray for your land, I'll heal it" (2 Chron. 7:14).

But James 2:17 tells us we can't stop there. Faith without action is dead. God needs politically involved vessels to work through. That means a couple of things. Not only are we all called to be actively involved in the political process from the grass roots level on up, we all must never miss a chance to vote godly men and women into office.

Some believers are called to run for political office. There are those whom He has equipped and prepared to stand in some kind of public position. If you're one of them, I urge you to be responsive to that calling.

Thirdly, it is vitally important that we educate our young people with the value system of God's Word. Here's what the Lord told Israel about this matter:
These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates. (Deut. 6:6-9)

The fourth and most important thing?but probably the least often connected with making right America's problems? Is our commitment to the increase of the Body of Christ.

When we have our political leadership and the voters in our community saved and serving God in a local church, things will begin to go God's way once again. This will happen as we invite and bring people to church, get them saved and let the Word change their hearts.

As they go back into the marketplace and the public square, the negative trends we've been seeing in America will begin to be reversed.

In closing, look at what John Adams said about the importance of God in our land:
"We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people."
In 1962, our nation made a sudden turn away from that great truth. The good news is, with prayer and diligence we can turn things back around just as dramatically.

We simply must become determined to do our part and to take the steps necessary to continue that legacy of righteousness, freedom and hope.

Stay True!

"Let your eyes look right on [with fixed purpose], and let your gaze be straight before you." Proverbs 4:25 (AMP)

 When using a compass for direction it always stays "true" for north. That's how we must be when traveling toward the goal God has set before us, don't leave the course stay straight always heading toward Him.

 Whatever your goal, whatever that dream for your future that has been placed in your heart tonight we pray that you remain "fixed" on the Father.

Choose wisdom!

“Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!" Deuteronomy 30:19 (NLT)

  We pray for truth to be spoken by our governmental leaders. For the American people to hear truth when spoken and recognize lies and 1/2 truths and not be afraid to speak truth without name calling. That those striving for leadership in this land know the one true God and follow his will. Those that refuse godly counsel be removed.

"I will praise  You,  O  Lord , with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works. I will be glad and  rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name,  O Most High." (Psalms 9:1, 2 NKJV)

 Tonight praise Him, remind the world you come in contact with you are different. You are filled with and have access to joy and peace that only comes thru relationship with our God, a relationship gifted to us from Jesus! Grab hold of joy not to horde it but share it!

Praying Psalm 91 for our Children!

 Pray for children and youth today. Together we are going to pray Psalm 91 for the kids. Psalm 91 is about the safety of abiding in the presence of the Lord. That's what they need right now (we all do!)

 As you read carefully through Psalm 91, confess that (y)our children dwell in the secret place of the Most High; that surely God will deliver them from snares; that no evil shall befall them nor any plague or calamity come near them; that God's angels have a special charge to keep, defend, and preserve them in all their ways; that God will be with them in trouble, will deliver them, and will satisfy them with long life.

Love and Blessings!

Psalm 91
 (New King James Version)

 1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
         Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
 2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
         My God, in Him I will trust.”
 3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler[a]
         And from the perilous pestilence.
 4 He shall cover you with His feathers,
         And under His wings you shall take refuge;
         His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
 5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
         Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
 6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
         Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
 7 A thousand may fall at your side,
         And ten thousand at your right hand;
         But it shall not come near you.
 8 Only with your eyes shall you look,
         And see the reward of the wicked.
 9 Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge,
         Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
 10 No evil shall befall you,
         Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
 11 For He shall give His angels charge over you,
         To keep you in all your ways.
 12 In their hands they shall bear you up,
         Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
 13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
         The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.
 14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
         I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
 15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
         I will be with him in trouble;
         I will deliver him and honor him.
 16 With long life I will satisfy him,
         And show him My salvation.”

God's Covenant

He is the Lord our God; His judgments are in all the earth. He is [earnestly] mindful of His covenant and forever it is imprinted on His heart, the word which He commanded and established to a thousand generations, The covenant which He made with Abraham, and His sworn promise to Isaac, [Luke 1:72, 73.] Which He confirmed to Jacob as a statute, to Israel as an everlasting covenant, Saying, Unto you will I give the land of Canaan as your measured portion, possession, and inheritance. When they were but a few men in number, in fact, very few, and were temporary residents and strangers in it, When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people, He allowed no man to do them wrong; in fact, He reproved kings for their sakes, [Gen. 12:17; 20:3-7.] Saying, Touch not My anointed, and do My prophets no harm. [I Chron. 16:8-22.] (Psalm 105:7-15 AMP)

 God never forgets his promises, He made covenant with the Jewish people for the land Israel and also the people Israel. Pray for safety and wisdom. A time of peace and joy. America (and the nations) to remain true to her word and people whose support of Israel is unconditional.

Love and Blessings.

Bearing Fruit...

"By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples." John 15:8 (NKJV)

 Praying this week that each and every one of  you bears fruit (what kind of fruit? Christ-likeness!). In bearing fruit God is glorified. When He is glorified we are able to be true disciples. A disciple is a learner, one who follows both the teaching and the teacher. This week be a learner!

Love and Blessings!

p.s. Remember He chose us:

"You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you." John 15:16 (NKJV)

Pray for those in authority in our Government.

 My heart has been aching for our nation, negativity is all about so many Christians are on the verge or have given up hope….There is an answer though PRAISE GOD! We have a land based on biblical values, birthed in prayer. So how do we get it back? Return to what His word says, speak the Word over your nation and pray that Word. Expect no less, accept no less.

Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made
for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all
godliness and reverence.  For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires
all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
1 Timothy 2:1-4 (NKJV)

1. Pray for our leaders in government. We ask that those in authority, through Godly wisdom and personal integrity, make the right decisions for our state/nation.
" Obey them completely, and you will display your wisdom and intelligence among the surrounding nations. When they hear all these decrees, they will exclaim, ‘How wise and prudent are the people of this great nation!’ 7 For what great nation has a god as near to them as the Lord our God is near to us whenever we call on him?"
Deuteronomy 4:6-7(NLT)

2. Pray that elected leaders will be supportive of Israel.
  “The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes.”   Proverbs 21:1 (NKJV)

3. Pray for our nation and for spiritual and patriotic revival in the land.
" Now go! I will be with you as you speak, and I will instruct you in what to say.” Exodus 4:12(NLT)

It's all about HIM!

"Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. (John 15:5 NLT)

 As we pray remember not only why but how we are able to accomplish things. Not by our power, plans, or strength. Everything we do is by Him! He is where our strength comes from. When we remember to not only listen to Holy Spirit but ACT on what/how we are directed. Much growth in the body of Christ occurs, physical bodies are healed, hearts are are made whole and changed for Him. That is our purpose always remember it's about the Father and His glory.

Love and Blessings!
