Children are the next leaders....

 We as the church need to have the revelation that children are full members in the army of God, not junior nor on reserve. Just as we pray protection and wisdom, boldness, and discernment for our leaders and military. We need to be praying the same for the children! We pray for Godly leadership, where do those leaders come from? From our children that have been taught and grown in Christ.

Take Responsibility.....Pray!

It is God's plan that His people take responsibility to pray for leaders, not criticize or berate them. Whether we like the leader or agree with their political agenda is not the issue. We as believers have something to do with the direction of our nation. Jesus calls us the "salt of the earth"(Matthew 5:13). Like salt, we act as a preserving force in the earth and help manifest God's plan and purpose. First, Paul said we should pray for leaders so that nations would be at peace. Peace is important so that the Gospel can go forward unhindered by war and turmoil. Wars and conflicts bring limits and restrictions. This is why Paul said the result of our prayer would be the ability to "lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty" (1 Timothy 2:2). Second, Paul said our prayer would enable the preaching of the gospel in places where the gospel has not yet been revealed, giving everyone the opportunity to hear the good news. Paul goes on to say "for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who will have all men to be saved, and come unto the knowledge of the truth." (1 Timothy 2:3-4)

 You can see why it is so important that we pray! The church needs to take responsibility for the spiritual climate of our nation. We are responsible to intercede and pray for all leaders, not just the President. There are many leaders who need our prayers. Let's do our part to make change happen and cause God to move upon our nation. Let's pray for direction, protection and freedom for the gospel to go to places where it has not been before. The ultimate purpose through our prayer is that the "good news" goes forth unhindered and that people are saved.

Encourage

What is one of the number one things we are supposed to do for one another? ENCOURAGE! Below is the definition of encourage along with some synonyms.

encourage, inspirit, hearten, embolden mean to fill with courage or strength of purpose. encourage suggests the raising of one's confidence especially by an external agency<the teacher's praise encouraged the students to greater efforts>. inspirit, somewhat literary, implies instilling life, energy, courage, or vigor into something <patriots inspirited the people to resist>. hearten implies the lifting of dispiritedness or despondency by an infusion of fresh courage or zeal <a hospital patient heartened by good news>. embolden implies the giving of courage sufficient to overcome timidity or reluctance <emboldened by her first success, she tried an even more difficult climb>.

We encourage one another in many ways. Tonight lets come together and pray for one another specific persons that come to heart. Next lift up specific ministries the Holy Spirit brings to you, not only those leading but those in support positions.

So we keep on praying for you, asking our God to enable you to live a life worthy of his call. May he give you the power to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do. 12 Then the name of our Lord Jesus will be honored because of the way you live, and you will be honored along with him. This is all made possible because of the grace of our God and Lord, Jesus Christ.” 2 Thessalonians 1:11

This week be an encourager, starting tonight pray the Holy Spirit leads you to someone you can encourage. It doesn't have to be major, sometimes a simple phone call, or text saying “thinking of you”, or “love ya’ “ can make the world of difference in not only a persons day, but life. God is GOOD!

Praying for honest, reliable leadership.

Praying for United States tonight. We pray tonight for our nations leadership to be honest, reliable (true to their word) hearers of God's word. When they hear from God they act, and quickly. If they delay or refuse that they be removed to make way for those that will.

"Take away the dross from silver, And it will go to the silversmith for jewelry. Take away the wicked from before the king, And his throne will be established in righteousness."
(Proverbs 25:4, 5 NKJV)

 Pray also for wisdom and discernment for Israeli leadership. That all that is meant for evil/harm toward's God's chosen land/people be revealed and stopped.

 Much is happening and with that there is no time to be lax in our faith.

Psalm 91, 121, &122

Do you know?

Do you have any idea how much God loves each one of you? You are his treasure, so important that Jesus gave his life for yours! Amazing isn't it? He loves you so much! He loves us individually, each and every one of us and not because we loved Him first. We have each been loved since before time began when in His amazing plan for mankind He planned you! Cool, huh?! What has this got to do with our prayers tonight? Everything! This week make it a priority to show God’s love to someone. At work, the grocery store, school, doctors office, wherever you go this week look for opportunities to be a light for Him, be His hands and feet show someone that they are not alone.

Praying for wisdom, boldness, discernment, and opportunity to be the link someone needs to meet our Father.

Love and Blessings!

Pray With Your Children

“Then, after doing all those things,
I will pour out my Spirit upon all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy.
Your old men will dream dreams,
and your young men will see visions" Joel 2:28

Have you really listened to the children/youth around you? They are filled with dreams and vision. Pray for them to remain strong/positive in those dreams/vision's God has given them. Pray with them! Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you on speaking with the young ones you come in contact with, to build them up, to help them with understanding and the steps to make things happen.

“Write my answer plainly on tablets,
so that a runner can carry the correct message to others.
This vision is for a future time.
It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled.
If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently,
for it will surely take place.
It will not be delayed" Habakkuk 2:2-3

Think about it....Are you in the way?

 Tonight think about your prayers,  we have a mandate to pray for Israel and our home nations. Are you staying in a place led by the Holy Spirit or are you letting your "head" get in the way? When we have spent so much time praying a specific thing we start to let ourselves get in the way at  times, not on purpose for sure but we can start to think we know whats best.....What about the Holy Spirit? He was sent here as our helper to guide us be sure your taking the time to pray IN THE SPIRIT and to take the time to LISTEN. Our Father has many plans and has given us a helper that will show us the way, but we must remember to listen, hear and act! Tonight pray in the Spirit for our own nations and Israel and then listen for what He has to share with you.

A Time for Everything

  "For everything there is a season,
      a time for every activity under heaven.
  A time to be born and a time to die.
      A time to plant and a time to harvest.
  A time to kill and a time to heal.
      A time to tear down and a time to build up.
  A time to cry and a time to laugh.
      A time to grieve and a time to dance.
 A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones.
      A time to embrace and a time to turn away.
  A time to search and a time to quit searching.
      A time to keep and a time to throw away.
  A time to tear and a time to mend.
      A time to be quiet and a time to speak.
 A time to love and a time to hate.
      A time for war and a time for peace." Ecclesiastes 3 1-8

 Stay focused, God’s plan is happening now in your life! God is not only willing, He is well able to coordinate events and move people to bring His plan to pass. Be encouraged not to give up on your prayers or your dreams.

 God is alive and well...and He is working behind the scenes. He is faithful. He can be trusted. We need to remember that just because we don't see Him doing something doesn't mean He is apathetic or uninvolved.

 But what if it takes awhile to see the answer to your prayers or the fulfillment of your dreams? If you give up, you'll never see them! It took Joseph 22 years to see his dream come true (see Genesis chapters 37-46), but it was well worth it.

 It took Abraham 25 years to see the fulfillment of his dreams (see Genesis 12). So don't give up...keep on praying; keep on serving; keep on dreaming. God rewards those who diligently seek Him (Heb. 11:6)!

 Praise Him tonight, glory! Visions are becoming reality, lives are changed, the Kingdom is being enlarged TODAY!

We are created with a purpose!

"We were sent to speak for Christ..." (2 Cor. 5:20).

 Another version of the Bible says, "Now then we are ambassadors for Christ." When you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior you became a representative for Him in this world. Nations around the globe send ambassadors to other countries to represent their interests. And now you have been sent here to this country to look after the interests of the kingdom of God! Think about that! Everywhere you go today, you are representing the King of Kings. What an honor!

 Perhaps it might seem a little intimidating also. God has equipped you to be His ambassador. He gave you His name and the power of His word. He put His own Spirit inside of you. He has also given you the ability to hear and follow directions of that Spirit. You are equipped! You have God inside of you!

 Today, wherever you may be, begin to think differently about yourself. You are not just another ordinary man, woman, or child but an ambassador of Almighty God! Talk to Him about how to be His representative in everything you do today. Let His interest be big on your mind and in your heart. You are an ambassador for Jesus Christ in this nation!

1 Timothy 2:1-7 (MSG) Simple Faith and Plain Truth

 "The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know. Pray especially for rulers and their governments to rule well so we can be quietly about our business of living simply, in humble contemplation. This is the way our Savior God wants us to live.
 He wants not only us but everyone saved, you know, everyone to get to know the truth we've learned: that there's one God and only one, and one Priest-Mediator between God and us—Jesus, who offered himself in exchange for everyone held captive by sin, to set them all free. Eventually the news is going to get out. This and this only has been my appointed work: getting this news to those who have never heard of God, and explaining how it works by simple faith and plain truth."
1 Timothy 2:1-7 (MSG)

   The above verses from Timothy say it all. Pray for Leadership her at home and in Israel. Peace comes from time on our knees, time spent w/the Father lift up our Nations to Him, thanking him for peace and freedom and the Love He has freely given us.

Yom HaAtzmaut - Israel Independence Day

  Beginning at sunset today Israel celebrates her 66th birthday. This amazing feat has occurred only by the miracles brought forth by our God. Ask any student of history there is no logical reason for Israel to be here until you take into account the Word of God that Israel would be. Pray tonight and during the week for protection and  safety for Israel and the Jewish people. Much of the Muslim world is using this time to try and call together an all out attack not just on Israel but on Jews worldwide. How does this effect the US and the rest of the world? A great deal not only are we given the charge to pray for Israel and Bless her but as far as the radical Muslim world sees we are the same as Israel (first the Saturday people, then the Sunday people). They will not rest till we are destroyed. Just one problem with that ideology is our God already has a plan for us to be Blessed and to prosper, not fail.  That said our part is to remain on alert, to pray for Godly leadership for our country and Israel. To know that our prayers are heard.  Our strength comes not from ourselves or from the governments but from God himself.

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.

 1 May the LORD answer you in the day of trouble;
         May the name of the God of Jacob defend you;
 2 May He send you help from the sanctuary,
         And strengthen you out of Zion;
 3 May He remember all your offerings,
         And accept your burnt sacrifice.  Selah

 4 May He grant you according to your heart’s desire,
         And fulfill all your purpose.
 5 We will rejoice in your salvation,
         And in the name of our God we will set up our banners!
         May the LORD fulfill all your petitions.

 6 Now I know that the LORD saves His anointed;
         He will answer him from His holy heaven
         With the saving strength of His right hand.

 7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses;
         But we will remember the name of the LORD our God.
 8 They have bowed down and fallen;
         But we have risen and stand upright.

 9 Save, LORD!
         May the King answer us when we call.
Psalm 20 (NKJV)

You Are A Gift!

"Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ." Ephesians 4:11-13 (NLT)

 Do you realize you're a gift? As a member of the body of Christ you are! Ephesians 4:11/13 tells of the five fold ministry each a gift to the whole. I just saw this today I’d never thought of the people moving in the office/anointing as the gift before, but they are! You are a gift to the body, and it’s not just the five-fold ministry but the helps ministry never forget the importance of support. God designed us to work together.

 Today we pray blessings on each one called to fill positions of ministry from each of the five fold and to those called into positions of help and support each is important. We pray peace in their families, discernment in ministry, business, and personal lives. Holy Spirit we thank you that you are with each one leading and guiding.

Praise

Read the following verse from Psalms and just be led of the Spirit to Praise God. It is through our praise that miracles of change happen.

Psalm 66:1-3 (New King James Version)
To the Chief Musician. A Song. A Psalm.

1 Make a joyful shout to God, all the earth!
2 Sing out the honor of His name;
Make His praise glorious.
3 Say to God,
“How awesome are Your works!
Through the greatness of Your power
Your enemies shall submit themselves to You.

"FIRST OF all, then, I admonish and urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all men,
For kings and all who are in positions of authority or high responsibility, that [outwardly] we may pass a quiet and undisturbed life [and inwardly] a peaceable one in all godliness and reverence and seriousness in every way.
For such [praying] is good and right, and [it is] pleasing and acceptable to God our Savior,
Who wishes all men to be saved and [increasingly] to perceive and recognize and discern and know precisely and correctly the [divine] Truth.
For there [is only] one God, and [only] one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,
Who gave Himself as a ransom for all [people, a fact that was] attested to at the right and proper time." 1 Timothy 2:1-6 (Amplified Bible)

  As Christians, God made us stewards of this nation He gave us. It's time to renew our minds to that truth and get involved again in shaping America. Pray for our country. People and Nations are grasping for change, and we know as believers the only real change happens when we accept Jesus as our Lord.
