Yom HaAtzmaut - Israel Independence Day

  Beginning at sunset today Israel celebrates her 66th birthday. This amazing feat has occurred only by the miracles brought forth by our God. Ask any student of history there is no logical reason for Israel to be here until you take into account the Word of God that Israel would be. Pray tonight and during the week for protection and  safety for Israel and the Jewish people. Much of the Muslim world is using this time to try and call together an all out attack not just on Israel but on Jews worldwide. How does this effect the US and the rest of the world? A great deal not only are we given the charge to pray for Israel and Bless her but as far as the radical Muslim world sees we are the same as Israel (first the Saturday people, then the Sunday people). They will not rest till we are destroyed. Just one problem with that ideology is our God already has a plan for us to be Blessed and to prosper, not fail.  That said our part is to remain on alert, to pray for Godly leadership for our country and Israel. To know that our prayers are heard.  Our strength comes not from ourselves or from the governments but from God himself.

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.

 1 May the LORD answer you in the day of trouble;
         May the name of the God of Jacob defend you;
 2 May He send you help from the sanctuary,
         And strengthen you out of Zion;
 3 May He remember all your offerings,
         And accept your burnt sacrifice.  Selah

 4 May He grant you according to your heart’s desire,
         And fulfill all your purpose.
 5 We will rejoice in your salvation,
         And in the name of our God we will set up our banners!
         May the LORD fulfill all your petitions.

 6 Now I know that the LORD saves His anointed;
         He will answer him from His holy heaven
         With the saving strength of His right hand.

 7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses;
         But we will remember the name of the LORD our God.
 8 They have bowed down and fallen;
         But we have risen and stand upright.

 9 Save, LORD!
         May the King answer us when we call.
Psalm 20 (NKJV)

Love and Blessings!
