Being persistent in prayer.

 I want to share the following, the parable of the persistent widow;

 "Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart,  saying: “There was in a certain city a judge who did not fear God nor regard man. 3 Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, ‘Get justice for me from my adversary.’ And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man,yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’” Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”
                                                                       Luke 18:1-8 (NKJV)

 Do you see? Jesus gave us a mandate not to stop, be persistent in our prayers! As long as we are praying for our leaders to be saved, for the knowledge of God to fill them, for our land to be healed and be one Nation under God.(1 Timothy 2:1-7) How can we lose? WE CAN'T! Don't give into what the negative world has to say about our country(s), we have the promises of God that tell us different.

 God will fulfill for us the promise of 2 Chronicles 7:14:

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." (KJV)

Love and Blessings!
