Urgent prayers for Israel!

 

Psalm 83 is a prayer written precisely to frustrate conspiracy against Israel. Speak it out and pray in the spirit. God has a mighty plan in place concerning Israel and our prayers are part of that. No man or nation can stand in the way of His plans and purpose. Take your places on the wall.

"Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold Your peace, And do not be still, O God! For behold, Your enemies make a tumult; And those who hate You have lifted up their head. They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, And consulted together against Your sheltered ones. They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.” For they have consulted together with one consent; They form a confederacy against You: The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab and the Hagrites; Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre; Assyria also has joined with them; They have helped the children of Lot. Chosen. Set apart. Appointed

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:5).

 All of us have a destiny, a plan, and an assignment that God the father designed specifically for us. Everything about us that pertains to life, the plans for our lives, the promises made just for us, our healings (by His stripes we ARE healed), the words straight from Him, it was already done in the spirit; it’s already done saith the Lord!

 What does that mean? It means that He knows it all, has already taken care of it all, has already said it and settled it, so we don't have to continue walking around worrying, panicking, and trying to call our own shots! He operates in the spirit, everything God does, it’s through His spirit. When the Lord speaks to us and communicates with us, this is done through His word and also in the spirit realm.
All we need to do is continue to say yes to His will, His way, His word, and trust and believe it, receive it, and watch it become fully manifested and come to pass, because He’s already done it!

 “I will praise You forever, because You have done it; and in the presence of Your saints I will wait on Your name, for it is good.” (Psalm 52:9).

 I love this!! Reading the above verse reminds me of the great plan God has for each of us.. Praise The Lord!! Praise Him for choosing you for this day and time. Next be sure and take the time to let a someone else know how wonderful and key to the kingdom of God they are.

Prayers for Our Nation.

As we prepare to gather with friends and family for picnics, parades, and fireworks this coming Friday, let us also pause to give thanks for the blessed freedoms we are celebrating on Independence Day. One of God’s best gifts to us is prayer, and how wonderful it is to live in a country where we can engage in prayer openly and freely! Do NOT take this for granted! I keep being reminded we have to use our gifts, and being able to pray freely and publicly is a gift use it.
Pray for our service men and women around the globe as they put their lives on the line for our freedoms. Pray for police and firefighters here in our country who put their lives on the line for us daily. Pray for those in political office from the city, county, and state levels all the way to Washington D.C. and the President that they not only come to a head knowledge of God our Father but Christ Jesus and the need of Him in this nation.

Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people. (Proverbs 14:34)

 Glory to God there is a shift in the atmosphere, prayers are paving the way for a mighty move of God. Stay focused on God, listen to the Holy Spirit a change is in the air feel it. See it, our God is greater than any government, any nation He is our supply. Praise God!

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything!

  The enemy may have been throwing stuff at you trying to shift your focus away from your goals (God's plan for you!), don’t fall for it!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.  Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”    Philippians 4:6-7 (NLT)

 Finally I urge each one of us to pray this prayer for spiritual wisdom for each other this week that as we go about our week, spending time with our Father developing relationship with Him wisdom and direction is awakened within us.

 “Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints,  do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers:  that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,  the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,  and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,  far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.
 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.” Ephesians 1:15-23(NKJV)

Families Together in prayer.

And he will turn The hearts of the fathers to the children, And the hearts of the children to their fathers....

(Malachi 4:6 NKJV)

Pray for a drawing together today of families, especially fathers and children. Children need to see strong men in their lives that love The Lord with their whole being, all the time, not just at church.  This prayer is not just for the "natural" fathers but the "spiritual" ones called to fill voids.

Turning this Nation Around

 Continue to pray for Israel's peace and protection of her people especially with the escalation of terrorist activities in the area. What we really need to focus on tonight though is America, we are entering into a season of change and we as Christians and pray-ers must step up and let our voices be heard, no longer be silent on what is going on...Pray for our country to return to God. Turning This Nation Around 

How could we, as a nation, have let this happen? We've let a lot of people who don't believe in God, or are outright hostile to Him, hold political office and run this country. The good news is that we don't have to let a pitifully small but vocal minority force-feed America with a philosophy we don't want.

As always, the first step is to pray. First Timothy 2:2 declares that we must pray for those in authority. Many Christians labor long and hard in the political arena, but they labor in vain if they're not first and foremost calling on the name of the Lord in prayer.

God has promised us, "If you pray for your land, I'll heal it" (2 Chron. 7:14).

But James 2:17 tells us we can't stop there. Faith without action is dead. God needs politically involved vessels to work through. That means a couple of things. Not only are we all called to be actively involved in the political process from the grass roots level on up, we all must never miss a chance to vote godly men and women into office.

Some believers are called to run for political office. There are those whom He has equipped and prepared to stand in some kind of public position. If you're one of them, I urge you to be responsive to that calling.

Thirdly, it is vitally important that we educate our young people with the value system of God's Word. Here's what the Lord told Israel about this matter:
These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates. (Deut. 6:6-9)

The fourth and most important thing?but probably the least often connected with making right America's problems? Is our commitment to the increase of the Body of Christ.

When we have our political leadership and the voters in our community saved and serving God in a local church, things will begin to go God's way once again. This will happen as we invite and bring people to church, get them saved and let the Word change their hearts.

As they go back into the marketplace and the public square, the negative trends we've been seeing in America will begin to be reversed.

In closing, look at what John Adams said about the importance of God in our land:
"We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people."
In 1962, our nation made a sudden turn away from that great truth. The good news is, with prayer and diligence we can turn things back around just as dramatically.

We simply must become determined to do our part and to take the steps necessary to continue that legacy of righteousness, freedom and hope.
